What is bibliotherapy?
Bibliotherapy is a therapeutic technique which uses books to help solve emotional problems.
Basically, the psychologist prescribes the patient a book dealing with the person's specific issue, i.e. Divorce, Depression, etc.
The book must deal with the issue in a realistic way, and the characters should be positive role models.
Bibliotherapy works best with children, as children tend to absorb themselves more in literature, and children's books deal with complicated matters in a clear, simple, straight-forward manner.
